LG Paddle Hike Event - LG Paddle and Hike Event- 9:30am Loop
Join Amesbury Recreation and Lake Gardner Improvement Association for a celebratory morning in the woods and on the water. Participants will meet at the LGIA table and take in the sights at the newly renovated town beach. From there, we will lead you through the Stagecoach Trail into Camp Kent Nature Center. This is a perfect time of year to explore the forest and wetland trails full of migratory birds and beautiful plant life. When folks arrive at Camp Kent, they will be greeted by our caretaker and summer camp director. Enjoy a brief tour and gather more information about the special habitats, wildlife and programs happening at camp. We will head to the boat house to grab our kayaks, and set sail for the beach. There is a brand new ramp on the lake shore, allowing a stress free and convenient entry onto the water. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Gardner as we lead you on a gorgeous 1 mile paddle adventure. Hope to see you there!Children ages 12+ welcomed, but must be accompanied by adult. Please choose the 9:30am or 11:30am loop when registering. Meet at Lake Gardner Beach, 79 High St.
