This is a program offered to ages 14+ that provides participants with valuable leadership skills, self confidence, and community service hours that can be used toward their graduation! As a C.I.T you will assist staff in Summer Recreation programs and take on more responsibility as you prove your ability to support and implement age appropriate creative activities, serve as a positive role model for kids, and assist with all other counselor duties, including upkeep of grounds and equipment. All C.I.T's work on a 2 week schedule. If your performance exceeds our expectations, you may be invited to work additional weeks for added community service hours.

CIT's must register online on www.amesburyrec.com, choose which CIT program you are applying for and pay the fee associated. In addition you must download and submit a completed application to the recreation office. Application must be submitted with a copy of photo ID or birth certificate and one letter of reference. Once we receive your application, we will email a cori form that will need to be signed and returned.
