Kayak & SUP Rental
New this year: Rent Kayaks & SUP at Lake Gardner Beach (79 High St).
Pre-registration required through the Recreation Department.
18 years or older to rent.
Fridays-Sundays, May 29-September 6
2 hour rentals- 11am, 1pm, 3pm time slots available.
Cost (includes life jacket and paddle):
2 hour rentals
Single Kayak: $30
Tandem Kayak: $45
SUP: $30
Rentals will be on a pre-registered basis only. To book a rental, please call the Recreation Office at 978-388-8137 or stop by our office at 62 Friend St.
Rental registration closes for the week each Thursday at 2pm.
When you arrive to Lake Gardner for your rental time, you will be required to fill out the rental waiver. Please bring a valid ID with you for your rental time.

Care of Equipment
Equipment must be returned in good condition and reasonably clean. Repair and cleaning fees may be applied to damaged or severely soiled equipment, up to and including full replacement cost.
The Stand Up Paddleboards are durable but much more fragile than a kayak, large dents or cracks in the board can happen easily if you hit a rock or land on the beach while standing on them. Large dents and dings may be costly to repair and so care must be taken to avoid collisions. If you have questions about this the please do not hesitate to call.
We ask for 48 hour advance notice for cancellations on all reservations
There will be no refunds for cancellations, but you may take a credit for another time and day with 48 hour notice. Cancellations within 48 hour will result in a forfeited rental. No refunds will be given for weather.
