CIT Program - CIT
Amesbury Recreation’s Counselor in Training(CIT) Program is a two week program offered to high school students (Grades 9-12) for the purpose of providing participants with valuable leadership skills and self-confidence while acquiring community service hours that can be used toward their graduation. In addition to the two weeks, participants will receive 8 hours of training and a CIT t-shirt.
CIT’s are expected to participate for 2 consecutive weeks. If performance exceeds our expectations, you may be invited to participate additional weeks for added service hours, at no additional cost.
*Mandatory CIT training will occur during the week of 6/23. More information will be announced closer to the start of the program.
