Winter After School Programs- Registration Begins January 2nd at 10amGrades 6-8Cooking with Kids' Test KitchenWednesdays: Jan.15-Feb.26 (no program Feb. 19) 2:45pm-3:45pmAmesbury Middle School CafeteriaKids’ Test Kitchen presents kids the opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. In this series, we will incorporate fun, engaging poses and activities to keep your preteen interested. They can expect; breath-work, mediation, physical postures as well as games and journaling. All participants will receive their own Gratitude Journal.Cost: $130.00 per childDIY Projects with Hammer & Stain NewburyportTuesdays: Jan.14- Feb.25 (no program Feb. 18) 2:45pm-4:00pmAmesbury Middle SchoolJoin Hammer & Stain Newburyport for a fun and engaging winter themed DIY arts and crafts program. The program is geared toward any artistic level and aims to spark students’ creativity and encourage them to try new designs. Projects include but are not limited to DIY snow globe, create your own winter scene, create and paint a snow flake light up, paint and assemble your own snowflake lamp, snowflake and snow people printmaking winter scene project. Our experienced instructor will guide students through each craft and be available to assist students throughout the creation of their project. Projects are suitable for ages 9-15.
