Camp Kent Family Events - Equinox Celebration- Family Registration
Spring Equinox CelebrationSunday, March 22, 2026 from 12pm-3m$10 per family (Please register just one person per family) or $5 for individualMeet @ Battis Farm (76 S Hampton Rd. Amesbury, MA)
Come celebrate the start of spring at Camp Kent Nature Center. We will meander through the trails from Battis Farm to camp, using all of our senses. Families will have the chance to participate in a "Signs of Spring Scavenger Hunt" that will lead us to our destination. We will enjoy whatever weather is thrown our way, knowing that warmer seasons are just around the corner! This time of year, it is so refreshing to take moments to notice new blooms, bulbs, bird songs and colors everywhere. After we complete our scavenger hunt and observe the sights around us, we will head to the fire circle to roast marshmallows and enjoy some warm beverages. At camp, families will be given a tour and welcomed to explore the ropes course, climbing wall, and beautiful waterfront of Lake Gardner. We can’t wait to see you soon!

Tournament of Champions with Sports Zone101- 8:30am-3:00pmIn this action packed program, children will participate in a variety of games, such as street hockey, soccer, football, dodge ball, basketball, whiffle ball, and many others! In addition to learning the fundamentals of these sports, we will have exciting discussions about current events in sports, learn the importance of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle, and reinforce in-class learning using sports cards and prizes. Each participant will receive a daily sports prize.Cost: $225 per childAges: 6-10Location: Amesbury Middle School GymnasiumMagic Brush Pottery- 8:30am-11:30pmHave your kids create with Magic Brush Pottery! Children will explore painting pottery (1 day), glass fusing (1 day), painting a canvas (1 day), & mosaics (1 day painting on wood with added gems). There will be a total of 8 projects. All projects will be planned by Magic Brush Pottery and they will teach them creativity & designs with step by step classes all week.Cost: $230 per childGrades: K-5Location: Amesbury Middle School Art RoomKids' Test Kitchen- 9:30am-12:30pmIn this multi-hour vacation session, your eaters, working together, will prepare entrées, fun snacks, and side items whose key ingredients are known to be really good for us! Along with cooking and tasting, which will be the emphasis, we’ll also take short breaks to move and flex our brain muscles – digging a bit deeper into the world of nutrition with fun activities. Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy KTK, where participation is expected, but tasting is always optional. Open to boys and girls in grades 5–8, this clinic focuses on skill development, teamwork, and confidence-building through age-appropriate instruction and engaging drills.Participants will learn and improve core volleyball fundamentals including passing, setting, serving, hitting, footwork, and court positioning. Players will be grouped by age and skill level to ensure proper instruction and maximum development.
