12:00 AM - 3:00 PM	Camp Kent Family Events - Earth Day Clean Up- Family Registration Earth Day CleanupApril 26th 12-3 PMFREE Family EventMeet at Battis Farm (76 Southampton Rd. Amesbury, MA)Join Amesbury Recreation for an Earth Day cleanup at one of our favorite places, Camp Kent Nature Center. We will work in groups to tidy up the pines, the trails, the butterfly garden and our other most commonly used spaces. There will be a focus on removing as much bittersweet from the forest line as possible! We will also pull saplings from the gardens, and work on whatever spring TLC is needed. We will provide snacks and light refreshments, but please feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with your friends and family. There will be time to enjoy a lunch break, and as always, free time to explore camp. We look forward to you and your friends or family helping us welcome spring and prepare for another great season at camp!

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM	Camp Kent After School Program - Spring After School Program Spring After School Program @ Camp Kent Nature CenterTuesdays 4-6 PM (5/5- 6/9) Grades 1-5$150 per childDrop off/ Pick up @ Battis Farm (76 S Hampton Rd.) Join Amesbury Recreation for another exciting session of after school fun! We will continue to explore the Camp Kent grounds and the Powow River Conservation Area. There are lots of migrant bird species that have arrived, as well as many other refreshing signs of spring that we can’t wait to share with you! As we gear up for summer camp and more time spent outside, we will be learning about all of the animals and plants in this area. We are surrounded by wetlands that are home to a wide range of biodiversity. During our six weeks, we will become familiar with all kinds of amphibians, birds, mammals, and plant life. Let’s work together to build up our forts and shelters, and get creative with nature as our inspiration. As always, we will play our favorite games, while exploring using all of our senses. Please join us in welcoming the new season and longer days ahead!*We operate on a Leave No Trace policy, so campers must carry out all of their trash! We still recommend most of the items listed for our winter sessions, but please text or call Christine at Camp Kent with any questions or recommendations regarding the weather.
