Camp Kent Adult Programs - Fall Hike & Kayak
Fall Hike and Kayak at Camp Kent Nature CenterSunday, October 19th, 12–3 pm Meet at Battis Farm (76 S Hampton Rd) Let's take in all the beauty around us as we explore the trails leading us to the water. We are so excited to welcome fall as we navigate the Powow River and all of its great wildlife! We will meet at Battis Farm, hike through the meadows to Camp Kent, and work as a team to get boats down to the water. Both kayaks and canoes will be available. It will be chilly, but hopefully sunny as well, so please plan to dress in layers. We look forward to enjoying what's left of the foliage while spending time with like-minded folks from around town. Don't forget a water bottle and snack. As always, you are welcome to bring your own life jacket, but we have plenty of options for people of all shapes and sizes. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Please register each person who is attending the event.
Children 8 and older are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Beginner kayakers are welcome; however, they must be accompanied by someone who will be their guide.
