Email and Text Notifications


Email Notifications
To sign up to receive email notifications from Amesbury Recreation, please log on to your AmesburyRec.com account and click on "notifications" tab. From there you will be able to add or edit an existing email address to receive updates. Please ensure you opt in to both "general department information" updates and "registration changes/cancellations". 

If you currently are registered to receive email notifications, but are not receiving any, please reach out to the Recreation Department at 978-388-8137.

Please see below for some common troubleshooting tips and tricks to consider if you are not receiving our emails:

Is the inbox full?
When an inbox is full the email will not be received.

Search the inbox
It is possible that your email provider may be automatically filtering notifications. Please search for noreply@myrecdepartment.com and noreply@receipts.myrecdepartment.com. 

Whitelist noreply@myrecdepartment.com (email blasts) and noreply@receipts.myrecdepartment.com (receipts and password resets)
The steps to doing this vary by email provider but can be searched for on the Internet. You are essentially telling your email that anything arriving from the above addresses are safe and should be allowed into the primary inbox.


Text Notifications
To sign up to receive text notifications from Amesbury Recreation, please log on to your AmesburyRec.com account and click on "notifications" tab. From there you will be able to add or edit an existing mobile number to receive text message updates. 

If you currently are registered to receive text notifications, but are not receiving any, please reach out to the Recreation Department at 978-388-8137.
