Middle School After School Program

IF YOUR CHILD IS CURRENTLY ENROLLED AND YOU NEED TO MAKE CHANGES TO THEIR DAYS PLEASE CONTACT THE OFFICE.

Program takes place in AMS Cafeteria.
*Open to all 5th & 6th graders.
*Children will not be released from the program without a parent/guardian present to sign them out.

AMS Program Services will not be provided:
-In the event of school cancellation
-School holidays
-Early release day before Thanksgiving break.
*Program is held on Professional Release Days beginning at 12:30

You must call the programs cell phone (978-375-5313) to report any absences or you will be charged a finders fee.

This Year's Adventures!
*We start each day with exercise outside or in the gym. Then we provide a healthy snack. During this time some may participate in after school clubs or homework help. They are welcome to do that and come to the program from there. We ask that they come to our program to check in so we know to look for them coming from the club. After snack, they work on homework and then participate in daily enrichment activities ranging from STEM, to nature, to visual arts and beyond!
*Exploratory learning and team building:
With our program structure, participants will build on their personal interests and have the opportunity to explore subjects they may have never thought of!  Guest speakers, hands on activities, and choice based enrichment will keep all kids engaged and excited for the next day. All activities, including field trips, are contingent on positive behavior during program hours. Field trips will be announced the day before and use the Youth services van.

Program is held on Professional Release Time (PRT) days!
If your child does not regularly attend on scheduled PRT day they may DROP IN for $35/day!
Payment is due by the 1st of the month every month.
Late payments will incur a $10 late fee.

Drop In students:
The Recreation office must be notified before your child attends as a drop in. PLEASE, NO Drop ins on MONDAYS. Payment must be made before your drop in date, unless previous arrangements have been made with Rec. office. Children who are pre-registered (attended the before or after school program within the current year) for the after school program are eligible for drop in care if space is available. If you are not pre registered, 24 hour notice must be given before attending.

$10 Sibling Discount for 5 day/week program.

We offer vacation programs during Feb. & April!
