4:00 PM - 6:00 PM    Camp Kent After School Program - Camp Kent Fall Edition (Tuesdays Grades 1-4)
  Join Amesbury Recreation for a fall edition of after school fun! We will explore the Camp Kent grounds and the Powow River Conservation Areas, as we welcome fall with our favorite games and activities. The crisp leaves and fresh air will allow for some great hiking, and opportunities to learn about the wildlife all around us. Now is the time we start to think about bird's migration patterns, as well as animal habitats and how they prepare for the colder months. We will observe and watch the season shift, while getting a beautiful view of the leaves changing! As always, we will work on wilderness survival skills, and continue to add to some loved shelters and forts in the pines. Enjoy camps low elements rope course and climbing wall to challenge yourself and work as a team. Most importantly, we will be having a blast outdoors, exploring one of the prettiest wild spaces in Amesbury! Please join us in welcoming the new season and wonderful school year ahead! Grades 1-4 : Tuesdays (September 17th and 24th, October 15th and 22nd, and November 5th and 12th). Programs run 4:00pm-6:00pm   Please contact Christine at 978-518-6588 with any questions, concerns, or detail clarifications.  *Parents are required to provide transportation to and from the program.Pick up and drop off at Battis Farm (76 S Hampton Rd)

2:45 PM - 3:45 PM    Fall Programs - Cooking with Kids' Test Kitchen
Transportation is not provided for programs. *Parents are required to provide transportation to and from the program.Mondays: Flag Football with Sports Zone 101 Flag Football provides students with the opportunity to develop many of the same skills, tactics, and strategies used in Football without significant physical contact. Not to mention, all of the skills used in Flag Football can be applied to any sport your child may be interested in later! Flag is a safe, fun way to get lots of exercise, learn a bit about teamwork and sportsmanship, and make some new friends. This program will be full of activities, drills, mini-games, and the chance to win some awesome prizes! No program will be held October 14th. *Please note this program's time has changed to 3:30pm-4:30pm. Cost per person: $125.00Wednesdays: Cooking with Kids' Test KitchenKids’ Test Kitchen presents kids the opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in theirraw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with an opportunity totaste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focalingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned! Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids’ Test Kitchen, where participation isencouraged, and the choice to taste is always one’s own. *Please note this program will now run 10/9-11/13.Cost per person: $200.00
