Children are grouped by age (Pollywogs grades 1-3 and Frogs grades 4-6) so games and activities are age appropriate. Every Wednesday is water play day for everyone! Thursdays are field trips, free of charge, such as a Fisher Cats baseball game, Laser tag, trampoline park and more. Friday is guest entertainer day. Sign up for our extended day program, which runs from8:00am-5:00pm daily.Looking for a way to attend the park program daily instead of registering for a full week?Purchase a Lily Pad Pass!For only $75 a day your child can now attend the Park Program from 8am-5pm and join in all the fun and games with their Frog and Pollywog friends.All Lily Pad Pass users must be pre-registered by the Thursday before the week of use. Payment must be made in full before they are permitted to attend the program. Adventure Programs - Camp Kent Week 1 Camp Kent Week 1: (July 3-7) Grades 4-8Art In NatureTake in the wonderful wilderness as we work together and use the land’s resources to create art in nature. This week we will transform our forests into museums and upgrade our forts with some fresh décor. We will create sculptures, shelters, and other art projects using natural materials found in the special habitats around us. As always, we will include nature based activities including ponding, archery, nature hikes, animal tracking, kayaking, favorite field and woods games, campfire treats and so much more!Camp Kent Week 2: (July 10-14) Grades 1-3Art In NatureNature’s beauty is all around us here at Camp Kent. This week we will focus on art in nature while we make unique artwork using natural materials found in the special habitats around us. We will use a variety of tools and materials to transform our trees into paintings and upgrade our fairy gardens. As always, we will include nature-based activities includingponding, nature hikes, animal tracking, canoe rides, favorite field and woods games, campfire treats and so much more!Camp Kent Week 3: (July 17-21) Grades 4-8Aquatic WeekCamp Kent will undergo a transformation into a waterpark. We will use tubes, tarps, sprinklers and buckets to engineer our own adventure course! We will create our own rafts, miniature sailboats, slip and slides, and more! Lots of time will be spent doing water-based games in a splash friendly environment. Each team will have time to go out ponding and kayaking, while exploring the water in a new light. Have fun with us as we learn aboutaquatic plants and the array of waterfowl on Lake Gardner. As always, we will include nature-based activities including archery, nature hikes, animal tracking, favorite field and woods games, campfire treats and so much more!Camp Kent Week 4 (July 24-28) Grades 1-3Aquatic WeekLet’s dive under the surface and explore the wetlands, lakefront, and streams all around Camp Kent. We will create our own rafts, fairy sailboats, slip and slides, and more! We will do all sorts of water games. Each team will have time to go mucking, ponding, catch frogs, learn about aquatic plants, and check out the array of waterfowl on Lake Gardner. As always, we will include nature-based activities including nature hikes, animal tracking, canoe rides, favorite field and woods games, campfire treats and so much more!Camp Kent Week 5: (July 31- August 4) Grades 4-8Wilderness SurvivalGet ready to learn all about fort building and how to secure safe spaces in the wild. This week at Camp Kent we will learn about knot tying, navigation and how to set up a weatherproof shelter. We will construct a fi re using different methods and materials andleave signs for our friends of our whereabouts. This week, we will learn about medicinaland edible plants we find to protect and sustain ourselves in case of an emergency. Wewill use plants to create natural dyes and make some beautiful artwork. Following the animal tracks in this area may give us clues and information on the importance of the land’s resources. As always, we will include nature-based activities including archery, nature hikes, animal tracking, kayaking, favorite field and woods games, campfire treatsand so much more!Camp Kent Week 6: (August 7-11) Grades 1-3Wilderness SurvivalThis week at Camp Kent, we will learn wilderness survival safety tips and practice with a survival mindset, build shelters and forts, construct fires, and learn to use basic tools and equipment. We will do scavenger hunts and fi nd some top-secret treasures in very sneaky places. We will explore the area and see what kinds of medicinal and edible plants are available for us to munch on and create with. We will use plants to make natural dyes and some beautiful artwork. As always, we will include nature-based activities including ponding, nature hikes, animal tracking, canoe rides, favorite field and woods games, campfire treats and so much more!Push It To The LimitThis week is programmed for those who want to challenge themselves in all different environments from Portsmouth, NH to Berlin, MA. Your child will have the opportunity to do indoor climbing, sea kayaking, rope climbing adventure park with zipline, and surfing with Cinnamon Rainbows. If your child is looking for a challenge, consider sending them to Push It To The Limit! While on our trips your child will learn how to build communication skills, self-confidence, leadership, trust, and balance as well as how to develop collaboration,innovation, and creativity.
